We find most vegan butter chicken recipes too confusing and too complicated so we decided to create our own based on our Ultimate butter chicken recipe!

Preparation
1. Blend our “ultimate butter chicken“ marinade ingredients in a large bowl.
2. Cut tofu into rough pieces, coat thoroughly with marinade, cover, and place in the refrigerator overnight.
3. Bake extra firm tofu at 400° for 15 minutes and set aside.
4. Next, melt vegan butter in the skillet and sauté onions until translucent. Then add the remaining spices and cook until fragrant.
5. Add vegan chicken broth, crushed tomatoes, and sugar to the skillet. Slowly add tofu pieces while stirring for around 3 minutes till everything is thoroughly cooked.
6. Add heavy coconut cream and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
7. Serve with Jasmine rice & Naan bread.
